Fs bertlemann slide trick tip
The Bertlemann slide (or "Bert slide") is a freestyle trick invented by the surfer Larry Bertlemann. Later, the Z-boys copied it on skateboards.
This trick is relatively easy, but it's so much fun. It can be done on flatland or on banks.

Ride in a comfortable position at medium speed.
It's easier to do this trick if you're already turning/carving frontside.
Crouch down and turn your shoulders a little to face the direction you're riding in.
Put your front hand on the ground, not too close to the board.
Try to support your body on your hand, so your board will be more loose to slide.
Use mainly your back foot to push the board forward in a 180 degree rotation.
Push your hand off the ground to get up again.
On rough surfaces you can wear a glove to protect your hand.
Finding the right speed is essential. Go too fast and you will fall, but go too slow and you won't have enough forward momentum to slide.
